Use a ladder stitch to close the hole.ġ2. I cut out a little heart to put inside (to store the love).ġ1. Then, Stuff them! You can use a pencil to help move the stuffing around. The dart should line up with the seam on the back of the head. Sew the back of the head to the back of the body. Feel free to add eyelashes, beads, a nose, or whatever else you can think of!\ġ1. Use embroidery thread to sew whatever face you want! On mine I used french knots for eyes and backstitch for the mouth. Close the bottom of the cheek and then turn their head inside out.ġ0. The cheek darts should be opposite of the top seam as pictured.ĩ. Take care to sew correctly around the eye bumps.Ĩ. Sew the tops of the back and face pieces together. Sew together the curved edges of the two “back” pieces.ħ. Sew the darts in the top of the body pieces, cheeks, and front of the face to give them some dimension! I whip stitched towards the end of each slit.ĥ. Before sewing, tie the end of your string in a big ole knot (3 or 4 knots on top of each other) so that it doesn’t pull through the fabric, and make your stitches very small so that they don’t pull while stuffing later.Ĥ. Don’t forget to flip the “back” piece before tracing it a second time! Where there are v’s in the pattern, just cut a slit all the way to the point.ģ. Stitch the two body pieces together, starting from the top of one arm to the top of the opposite arm. Leave enough room around each piece to cut about an ⅛ inch seam allowance. Trace the patterns onto your fabric and cut them out. Short length of black or brown embroidery threadĢ. **Just as a foreword: your froggy might be slightly different than mine in the pictures, as I tweaked the pattern just a bit after taking the photos.
